August 30, 2010 – New Orleans, LA - City Council President Arnie Fielkow is launching virtual town hall meetings in which he will engage in real-time chats with constituents via his newly renovated website, www.Fielkow.net.
Log onto www.Fielkow.net this Thursday, September 2, from 8am to 9am for the inaugural virtual chat with Councilmember Fielkow.
This new communication conduit will provide an hour for constituents to write in and ask questions to the Council President in a real-time chat format. Along with shifting every fourth City Council meeting to 3pm, this virtual town hall initiative is yet another way for Councilmember Fielkow to reach constituents that may not be able to attend regular City Council meetings.
