November 22, 2010 – New Orleans, LA – Over 300 volunteers worked all day on Saturday, November 20, at Easton Playground. The result: a Kaboom Playground, new trees, a mural on the pre-existing facility, a stage, a shade structure, benches and, most importantly, a renewed sense of pride in the Mid-City community. Warren Easton’s marching band entertained the volunteers, and neighborhood kids joined for lunch and to help in the rebuilding efforts. It was a fun day of service with a rich outcome.
