Statement from City Council President Fielkow
Regarding City Budget
New Orleans, LA – July 23, 2010 – Council Budget Committee Chair Arnie Fielkow released the following statement in response to Mayor Landrieu’s Press Conference on the City’s budget deficit of $67 million.
“We are working with the Administration in addressing this serious budget situation with minimum impact on our employees and the services that our citizens deserve. We will continue our joint efforts to give our citizens the best and most efficient use of their tax dollars, and welcome their input as we begin this difficult process for adopting the 2011 budget.”
