City Council Election Code and Reapportionment Committee to Hold Citywide Community Redistricting Meeting
Thursday, April 14th
What: The New Orleans City Council Election Code and Reapportionment Committee will hold a Citywide Community Redistricting meeting beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2011 in the Council Chamber to inform the community-at-large about the process to redraw council district boundaries. At the meeting, Councilmembers and representatives of Redistricting, LLC will inform the public about the requirement to redraw district boundaries, according to the City Charter. They will also offer specifics about the redistricting process and how it will move forward.
